Baffour Gyawu praises Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s impact at Inter Allies

After just three league matches in the Ghana Premier League, Inter Allies coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s impact at Inter Allies seems to have reached levels so tangible that some of the players have come out to hand him high marks.

One such player is Joseph Baffour Gyawu who got the team’s two goals when they beat Liberty Professionals on Wednesday in the Ghana Premier League in Cape Coast.

He revealed his thoughts on Yatsuhashi after the match and said that they had benefited immensely from what the former Hearts of Oak was teaching them.

“This coach is one who draws players close to him because he leads by example. He takes part in the sessions and that motivates us to keep going. We appreciate this because it toughens us and we are happy.

We will not let him down because we are professionals. We want to to win as well because that brings a good feeling among us.”

The player said that he was ready to increase his tally for the team in the season.

“I would like to thank the coach for giving the chance to play and get the goals. I believe in taking an opportunity when given so that was what I did.

I decided to follow the instructions from the coach and I got the goals. A lot more are on the way so people should watch this space.”

The victory over Liberty Professionals moved Inter Allies to 7 points on the league log after three matches. They take on Aduana Stars (away), WAFA (home) and Elmina Sharks (away) in their next three league matches.
