Jordan Ayew optimistic about Swansea’s survival hopes

Swansea City forward, Jordan Ayew, is positive the club will avoid relegation in this season’s English Premier League campaign.

Carlos Carvahal’s side have gone on a remarkable run, which has seen them climb from the bottom of the league, to five points above the relegation zone.

Ayew, who returned to the team with a goal over the weekend after a three match ban believes the team has what it takes to beat the drop.

“I think is a positive moment for the club and for me because we don’t have to forget where we were six months ago,” Ayew told Sky Sports.

“We are five points ahead of the bottom three now and this is a step forward.

“Even though we are moving slowly, it is a positive, and if we keep on playing like this we will make everyone happy.”

Swansea will take on champions Manchester City next in the Premier League.
