Adomah misses out on PFA team of the year

Aston Villa forward Albert Adomah surprisingly missed out on a place in the PFA Championship team of the year.

The 30 year old has had a remarkable season with the Villans which has seen him as the club’s top scorer with 14 goals so far.

The PFA team of the season is selected by players in the EFL Championship.

The Ghana international has been a key part of Steve Bruce’s side helping them secure a place in the Championship playoffs.

The Ghana international was one of the shock omissions in the team that was dominated by players from Hull City and Fulham.

Adomah was earlier this season named in the SkyBet Championship Team of the year, which is decided by the managers of clubs in the EFL Championship.

Adomah is in his second season with Villa, after joining from Middlesbrough in 2016.
