CAFCC: CAF rejects Aduana home grounds for group stage matches

Ghanaian Champions Aduana Stars will not be allowed to host their CAF Confederation Cup group stages matches at their favored after the Confederation of African Football’s Inter-club competition inspection declared the Nana Agyemang Badu II park in Dormaa unfit to host games.

The CAF inspection team was in Dormaa last week to assess the venue.

Aduana, who have played both their CAF Champions League and CAF Confed Cup qualifying matches at Dormaa, will now have to choose between the Cape Coast Stadium, the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and the Len Clay in Obuasi as their home venue until their home grounds is brought up to standard.

Aduana Stars travel to Ivory Coast to meet Asec Mimosas before welcoming Raja Cassablanca at home .

All other venues have been approved for the CAF inter-club competitions which kick off on 6th May.
