Dreams FC result was decided before the game – Kenichi fumes

Inter Allies head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has said his team no longer needs to put in effort in their away matches after yesterday’s collapse against Dreams FC in Dawu.

Inter Allies led the game 2-1 through Victorien Adebayor’s brace before eventually condeicng two late goals, one of them through an injury time penalty, to succumb to a 3-2 defeat.

Inter Allies have yet to pick a point away from home this season, losing all 4 games played away from home.

The Japanese trainer was less than impressed with the officiating, claiming the result was pre-determined.

“Everyone who watched this game knows my players deserve credit for the way they played,” Kenichi said after the game.

“Unfortunately, the result was already decided even before the match started. For 4 away matches, we’ve lost them all. But at home, no matter how bad we play, we get a result.

The referee was excellent. The script was already written for her and she went according to it,” he said sarcastically.

Asked why Allies have lost every away game so far this season, Kenichi said: “Nobody likes Inter Allies. In all our away matches, it’s already written for us to lose.

“I think it’s too bad to make any efforts in our games going forward.”

Inter Allies welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Tema Stadium on Sunday in match week 12.
