Sobhi: Team chemistry key to success in Russia

Stoke City and Egypt winger Ramadan Sobhi believes the telepathy and general stability will play a key role as they seek to advance beyond the group stage at the upcoming Russia 2018 World Cup.

After qualifying to the showpiece through a dramatic 94th minute penalty, scored by Mohammed Salah, the Pharoah’s will want to better their history which has seen them exit at the Group stage in both the 1934 and 1990 editions respectively.

The young winger credited the bond formed between the players to the man management skills of Argentine head coach Hector Cuper.

This he says has given them the needed confidence to conquer their Group.

“He has been managing our national side for three years now.

“He organised our team

“Stability helps for sure because players get used to each other and his plans.

“I hope this will help when we play.

“There are very tough matches but we will put in focus and hard-work to achieve this result, he concluded

Egypt begin the Russia 2018 campaign against South American side Uruguay in the second game of Group A at the Ekaterinburg Arena.
