U-20 AFCON: Jimmy Corblah names final 21-man squad for tournament

Manchester youngster Amankwah Yeboah along with Gabriel Leveh and defender Najeed Yakubu have all been excluded from coach Jimmy Corblah’s final squad for the upcoming CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger.

The three players were part of initial training programs of the Black Satellites but have not made the trip to Niger.

The squad contains six players from the 2017 FIFA U-17 world cup team in India.

Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim; midfielders Ibrahim Sadiq, Ibrahim Sulley, Mohammed Kudus; defender Gideon Mensah and striker Emmanuel Toku have all been included.

Ghana are in Group B alongside Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso.

The competition will run from February 2- 17 February 2019.
