Moroccan outfit, RS Berkane, have touched down in Accra ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup first round tie with AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday.

The Moroccans arrived early Tuesday morning with 38 people in their contingent.

They have 18 players, 7 technical team members and other members of their delegation.

They got to Kumasi on Tuesday mid-morning and they are expected to head to Obuasi by Wednesday or Thursday so they can get ready for the tie on Saturday.

Berkane are hoping to overcome the Miners over two legs to grant them passage to the play-off stage of the competition.

They lost to Zamalek in last season’s final played in May this year and they will hope to go the distance once again and get a better result this time.
