Full list of nominees for the 2019 CAF Awards

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the lists of players, coaches, and teams for the year 2019.

The event itself will take place in Egypt on the 7th of January 2020.

CAF released the list of nominees for the 28th edition of its annual football awards.

Big names like Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Thomas Partey, Riyad Mahrez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Asisat Oshoala, Christen Kgatlana, and Hakimi Achraf among others have received nominations for the various categories.

The CAF Awards is an event that celebrates the African footballers, officials, and teams that have distinguished themselves across the globe.

It features several award categories including: Africa Player of the Year (Male and female), Coach of the Year (Male and female), Youth Player of the Year, National Team of the Year, Goal of the Year, Africa XI and other several awards to individuals for their contribution to the development of African football.

The Interclubs Player of the Year, which is dedicated to awarding the best player in the CAF club competitions.
