Great Olympics finally got their first victory of the new Ghana Premier League after beating Karela United Fc 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.

The ‘Dade Boys’ had not even scored a goal this season heading into the match but all that changed when Gladson Awako put away a penalty in first half injury time.

The former TP Mazembe player captained Olympics on the day in place of Emmanuel Clottey who was on the bench.

Despite the best efforts of Karela to get back into the match, Olympics sealed all three points after Yusif Razak slotted home the second in the 85th minute.

The victory sends Olympics to 14th place while Karela are  11th on 4 points.
