REVEALED: Why Liberty Professionals are without a home win

Liberty head coach, David Ocloo, has admitted that their struggles at home have been caused the weight of expectations on the players.

Despite their unbeaten run away from home, Liberty are yet to win at Dansoman this season.

They have drawn their matches against Legon Cities (2-2 in Week 1), Medeama (1-1 in Week 3) and they 2-1 lost to Hearts of Oak in Week 5.

David Ocloo believes that the burden of delivering in front of the home fans gets to the players and that affects them.

“When the boys play at home, there is some pressure on them. When that happens, they hesitate a bit when playing.

However, when we play away from home, there is no pressure but I am working on the psyche of the players to get them to perform better at home.”

Liberty face Dreams in Week 8 at the Carl Reindorf Park and they will hope that their fortunes will improve and get a victory at home.
