Kumasi Asante Kotoko are no strangers to late winners this season.
Having scored a 90th-minute winner against Hearts of Oak a few weeks ago, you would imagine that the Porcupine Warriors would be well aware of the dangers of slacking off in the final minutes of a game.
That lesson was perhaps not heeded as Aduana found a very late goal in a game that will dominate media talk over the next few days for various reasons.
Both Aduana’s Farouk Adams and Kotoko’s Martin Antwi sat out the start of the game and eventually the entire first half.
The two players entered the game in the second half.
The game looked set to end goalless until a cross from the left was turned into the Kotoko net by Samuel Bioh.
Wednesday’s win takes Aduana into third place, above Kotoko who drop down into fourth.
