Kotoko’s Felix Annan vows to fight for spot

Asante Kotoko captain Felix Annan has sworn to put up a fight aimed at reclaiming his spot as the clubs first choice goalkeeper.

Annan lost his number one spot after match day 3 in the Ghana Premier League to Kwame Baah following a leave of absence.

“All my years in Kotoko and throughout my playing I have been fighting for a position.

“I have always given my best.

“As far as I am with the club and have a contract I will give my best every time I step on that pitch.

“It isn’t a problem at all and I will continue with my training as usual.

I will keep on fighting till i’m no longer with the club,” he disclosed when asked about his current situation.

His lack of game time has become one of the main talking points of Asante Kotoko’s season with tons of the club’s fans disgruntled with his prolonged absence.

Having signed an improved contract in 2019, his current deal runs until 2022.
