President of AshGold, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, has appointed Roy Arthur and and his son, Emmanuel Frimpong, to high level positions in the club.
The appointments were done on Thursday, April 30.
Emmanuel Frimpong and Arthur are part of a five-member management team put together to run the club and he expressed his desire to succeed in his new job.
“With the support of my management and Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, we can make it. Being a C.E.O of Ashantigold SC is not a matter of age,” he told Sikka FM. If I could manage a couple of businesses why not Ashantigold SC? We want to make AshantiGoldSC one of the biggest brand in African Football.”
Frimpong will be the new CEO and he replaces Frederick Acheampong who resigned in April and Arthur will be AshGold’s new Sporting Director and he told Atinka Sports on Friday that he was eager to turn AshGold into a successful story once again,
“It is a privilege to have this opportunity to join ashgold as the sporting director . I think it’s great. Looking forward to this new giant challenge. I hope to help the team achieve more success in the future.”
Seth Boakye Agyemang is the team’s Administrative Manager with Gibrine Musa working as the operations manager.
Daniel Bioh is the Secretary/ Media Officer.
