Nunoo – Sarpei pleads for better infrastructure for players in Ghana

Ghana and Greuther Furth’s Hans Nunoo – Sarpei wants football stakeholders back home to make greater efforts to improve football infrastructure.

This he believes will be key to the nurturing of players and also reduce the risk of career threatening injuries.

“It is risky playing out there in such condition because a player can easily end his career.

“This is because of a lack of facilities or lack of funds to cater for the player in the case of a serious injury.

“Any injury can end someone’s career and you look at how much money they get every month it is so appalling they can’t afford to take care of themselves,” he stated on The Tracker on Citi TV.

The young midfielder spent time in Ghana’s Division One with Accra Great Olympics and the junior side of Liberty Professionals before eventually departing for Germany.
