“Office Too Hot”: Acting Kotoko CEO forced to work from conference room

Acting CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Joseph Yaw Adu has voiced out his disappointment at the poor state of facilities at the Club’s secretariat.

The former sports director at KNUST was appointed by a five member board to handle the affairs of the club until a new CEO is settled on by the club.

Speaking on his appointment , Adu stated that the office is not ready to receive a new CEO.

“Kotoko as we see it outside is a big club and it belongs to Otumfuo so everybody knows it’s a big club.

“But coming into the office today, I have to confess I am a little bit disappointed because it seems the office is not even ready to accommodate the chief executive as of now,” he explained to Kotoko express app.

“His office is as hot as anything so I had to sit in the conference room.

“The staff are telling me most of the machines they are using are not in good shape and they are not serviceable,

“I have requested that they put in all these request so I’ll forward it to the board for us to acquire new machines to run the club,”he said.

Several names have popped up as possible replacements for George Amoako as the new CEO of Kotoko including former AshGold CEO and GFA Executive Council Member, Frederick Acheampong.
