Palmer vs GFA: We are unfazed by impending CAS verdict – Harrison Addo

The Ghana Football Association says it is unfazed by the impending decision from the Court of Arbitration for Sport in relation to the case between the Federation and Wilfred Osei Palmer.

Palmer dragged the FA to CAS over what he deemed unfair disqualification from contesting the 2019 GFA presidential election which Kurt Okraku won.

The verdict was initially expected to be announced on July 17 but CAS pushed the date to August 4.

Speaking on behalf of the GFA, General secretary for the association, Prosper Harrison Addo says they are patiently awaiting the verdict.

“This is not the first time. We are a football association so we expect cases at CAS.

“We know the procedure and we are okay, so we are not expecting anything from CAS until the verdict comes,” he said in an Interview on Sports Panorama.

“If the verdict comes, we will just comply with whatever they ask us to do,” he concluded.
