Premier League side Southampton have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu.
The 21-year-old joins from Real Valladolid and has signed a four-year deal to move to St.Mary’s after his buyout clause of £10.9 million was triggered by the club.
Salisu becomes Southampton’s first signing of the season, and the announcement was made on the club’s official twitter handle.

Salisu made 31 appearances for Real Valladolid last season, helping his side finish 13th, with the La Liga’s 7th best defense.
