AshantiGold part ways with Emmanuel Osei Baffour and three others – Reports

Ghana Premier side, AshantiGold have parted ways with four players including midfielder, Emmanuel Osei Baffour after an unimpressive spell with the club.

The Obuasi based club have already mutually terminated the contract of Benedict Wobenu who joined the side at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season.

The 25 year old, Osei Baffour,  rejoined AshantiGold in July 2019 ahead of their participation in CAF Confederation Cup after he had an outstanding spell at Karela United FC.

He made 10 appearances in the cancelled 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

The other players who have been let go are defender Musah Mohammed and midfielders Stephen Owusu Banahene and Randolf Akwasi Nti.

Ashgold will now look forward to beefing up the squad in preparations for their campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup.
