Mohammed Kudus draws praise from Ajax boss after excellent outing

Ajax Manager, Erik Ten Haag has heaped praise on Ghana midfielder, Kudus Mohammed, after he scored in Ajax’s 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Kudus, 20, who joined Ajax from FC Nordsjalland last month is settling into life in the Netherlands and played his first 90 minutes for the club on Tuesday in a friendly win over HerthA Berlin.

He followed that up with his first goal for the club, thumping the ball into the back of the net after a clever backheel from his Ajax teammate.

Ten Haag told the media after the game he was impressed with the output of Kudus.

“I have seen the same as you. It was an excellent performance by Kudus. He still has to search a bit about how to position, but if he is further integrated into our playing style, he will grow to an even higher level”, he said after the game.
