“I’m the complete package” – Prof. Mintah touts credentials for TD role

Former Ebusua Dwarfs coach, Prof. J.K. Mintah has told Citi Sports he has the requisite experience to become the new Technical Director for the Ghana Football Association.

The former Black Stars Psychologist is among six candidates shortlisted for the vacant position as the GFA hunts for a replacement for Francis Oti Akenteng who left his role at the end of March 2020.

“I have done a lot, not only in terms of coaching but also in terms of leadership, coaching education and training people.

“And I’ve done all these not only in Ghana, but also in the US where I schooled and lectured.

“In the whole, I’m the complete package,” he told Citi Sports editor Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo in an exclusive interview.

“But I must say that my job was to go for the interview, the rest lies with those that interviewed us. I will be happy if I get the job, and if I don’t, I will support whoever gets it,” he concluded.

The GFA is expected to name the new Technical Director in the coming months.
