Nigeria to play Ivory Coast, Tunisia in October friendlies as COVID-19 recovery continues

Nigeria are set to face the Ivory Coast and Tunisia in international friendlies in October.

The matches, both set to take place in Austria were confirmed by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick.

Tunisia

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a number of matches being postponed across the continent, including AFCON 21 and World Cup qualifying matches.

Nigeria’s last match was in November 2019, an AFCON 2021 qualifier against Lesotho which they won 4-2.

Ivory Coast

It was their second victory from two matches in the qualifiers which are set to continue in November.
