Black Stars defender Lee Addy open to playing in Ghana Premier League

Former Red Star Belgrade and Black Stars defender Lee Addy says he is open to joining a club in the Ghana Premier League.

The veteran defender was last in Ethiopia to sign with an unnamed team when the Ethiopian top flight was called off due to Covid – 19.

According to him he is at a point in his career where he wants to share what he has learnt with the younger generation.

“For me, my doors are open, anyone who comes to me is always welcome, I will embrace any contract that is brought to me.” He said on Citi Tv’s the Tracker with Benjamin Nketsia.

” I will be very happy to be part of people who will make history in any club in Ghana.

” I will be very happy to lead a club in Ghana to the highest level.

” I will Join Hearts of Oak, Ashgold or Kotoko for the young ones to learn from me because I have acquired and learnt a lot.” He concluded.

The 30 year old previously played for Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea, where he won the award for best defender twice in his time at the club.
