Justice Blay remains at Medeama despite Kotoko’s last minute push

Midfield powerhouse, Justice Blay, will spend the upcoming Ghana Premier League season at Tarkwa based Medeama, after his proposed move to Asante Kotoko fell through.

Kotoko were hoping to land their man on transfer deadline day, but were unable to reach an agreement with Medeama on the transfer fee.

Blay spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Kotoko, and hugely impressed, cementing his status as one of the best midfielders in the country.

The player over the course of the transfer window, expressed his desire to join Kotoko, but that deal did not materialise.

Blay is currently in pre season camp with Medeama, and has so far netted twice in two friendly games.

The presence of Blay will be a huge boost to Medeama, who will be aiming for the top prize, having finished top of the last two truncated GHPL seasons.
