The Black Bombers are the most successful National Team in the history of Ghana’s participation at the Olympics, having won 3 of the country’s 4 medals since Ghana made its debut at the global sporting event in the 1960.

The Black Bombers have so far qualified 2 boxers for the next Olympics that have been rescheduled to July and August, 2021 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The qualified boxers are Captain Sulemanu Tetteh (Flyweight) and 19 year old Samuel Takyi (Featherweight).

There will be a final global qualification event to be held in Paris, France, in May 2021 before the Olympics Games, to offer a window of opportunity to more boxers to try and qualify for the Games
