Pearlpia Ladies acquire new bus ahead of NWL season

Ghana Women’s Premier League side Pearlpia Ladies have acquired a brand new bus with part of the money they received from the FIFA Covid 19 Relief Fund.

This comes as a relief to the Management of the Northern based club, as they believe the newly purchased bus will ease the transportation challenges the club have encountered over the past years.

Head coach Abdulai Abdul Mumin says the club is well prepared for the upcoming season and hopes that the newly purchased bus will help boost the moral of his players.

“We are battle ready for the season as we’ve started preparing the girls mentally and physically”, he said.

” I know what we went through in the past seasons, most especially in regards to transportation, and so, I am hoping that our newly purchased bus will boost the confidence of my players ahead of the season”, he stated.

Team captain Basira Alhassan who doubles as captain of Ghana Black Maidens expressed her delight towards her management for taking a decision to acquire their ‘newly baby’.

The 33-seater capacity bus will be used by the top flight side in the upcoming season.
