See Andre Ayew’s brilliant free-kick which put Ghana ahead against Sudan [VIDEO]

Ghana’s Black Stars are ahead at half-time by a goal to nil against Sudan in their AFCON 2021 qualifier at the Cape Coast stadium.

Andre Ayew found the corner of the net with a brilliant freekick after a Sudanese defender had handled the ball right outside the box.

Waving off the other players who had gathered around the ball, the Black Stars captain took responsibility and planted the ball right into the corner.

The goal was his 18th for the Black Stars in his 91st appearance for Ghana’s senior national team.

Ayew probably should have had a second after a thumping header from Samuel Owusu’s cross but the referee ruled it out for a controversial foul.

The Swansea forward was very influential in the first half, with his cutback just evading his brother Jordan, who was sprinting into the six-yard box.
