Samuel Tetteh off the mark for St. Polten in Austria

Ghana winger, Samuel Tetteh came off the bench to rescue a point for St. Polten in their 1-1 draw away to Ried in the Tipico Austrian Bundesliga Sunday night.

The goal was Tetteh’s first since joining St. Polten on loan from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 24 year old replaced Sierra Leonean George Davies in the 63rd minute with St. Polten down 1-0 before he popped up with the equalizer in the 83rd minute to level the game.

The Ghanaian international is gradually rediscovering his scoring form following an underwhelming loan spell in the MLS with New York Red Bulls where injuries marred his time.

The 24 year old will hope his scoring form with continue in the coming weeks as CK Akonnor prepares to name a squad for the upcoming AFCON 2021 qualifying matches against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
