Dreams FC found their winning touch again and put AshGold to the sword in Week 16 of the Ghana Premier League with a heavy 4-1 home win in Dawu on Thursday.

The home side was eager to get back to winning ways after their 1-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea and started very well with a Joseph Esso penalty in the 7th minute.

The former Hearts of Oak man went on to grab two more goals in the 51st and 53rd minutes to make the score 3-0 to Dreams FC.

AshGold got a goal back in the 87th minute through David Abagna but Agyenim Boateng kept the three-goal margin with a free kick in the 90th minute.

The result keeps Dreams’ unbeaten home run intact in 2021 after they beat Aduana Stars, WAFA, Liberty and Ebusua Dwarfs at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Overall, in 2021, Dreams have lost only one match and have won 5 and drawn 3.
