Belgium name Hazard, De Bruyne and Lukaku in 26-man Euro 2020 squad

Belgium have announced their 26-man squad for this summer’s European Championship.

Roberto Martinez has offered little by way of surprise with his selection and there is space for renowned stars Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois. Eden Hazard makes the squad despite his injury troubles this season.

There is no place for former Manchester United winger Adnan Januazj, with the Real Sociedad man only on the standby list.

There are nine players from the Premier League in the squad.

De Bruyne is joined by Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans, Dennis Praet and Timothy Castagne, as well as Crystal Palace duo Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke.

Toby Alderweireld, Leandro Trossard and Leander Dendoncker are also in the squad.

Who will Belgium face at Euro 2020?
Belgium start their campaign with a match against Russia on June 12 in Saint Petersburg.

They then face Denmark five days later, before finishing Group B against Finland on June 21.

If Belgium win their group, they will face the best third-placed team from Group A, D, E or F — which could be Gareth Southgate’s England.
