Sprinter, Benjamin Azamati set a facility record when he clocked 10.04s in the 100m at the Grand Valley State to progress to Saturday’s final of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The time makes it the third-fastest ever in the history of the NCAA Division II Outdoor T&F Championships and the West Texas A&M student also owns the top two with 9.97, and10.03.
Azamati remains the man to beat heading into Saturday’s finals.
