Ghana vs Ivory Coast: Match tickets on sale as fans anticipate come back to stadium

Black Stars fans will finally have an opportunity to watch the team after months of absence when the team takes on Côte d’Ivoire in an international friendly on Saturday evening.

The game is expected to have 25% of the total capacity of the Cape Coast Stadium after easing of restrictions following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The game will be played under strict COVID-19 Protocols as required by CAF and FIFA.

This is part of measures put in place by the GFA to ensure the safety of spectators, journalists, and players.

The last meeting between the two countries was at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final in Equatorial Guinea where the Ivory Coast won 9-8 on penalties after extra time.

Coaches of the two sides will use the game as a dress rehearsal for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September 2021.

The game is scheduled for 17:00 kick-off on Saturday, June 13, 2021.
