Timothy Fosu-Mensah names his top Ghanaian artistes

Bayer Leverkusen defender Timothy Fosu Mensah has revealed that despite visiting Ghana, the country of his parents just twice he still connects with the culture through Ghanaian music.

According to him he has long been a follower of Ghana music right from his childhood.

His interests cut across genres as he highlighted highlife musician Bisa Kdei as one favourites while also stating that he is a big fan of deceased hip life artiste Castro Da Destroyer.

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie also made his list alongside Slow Down hitmaker King Promise.

“Bisa is good, I don’t know if I am saying the name right.

“Sarkodie is good and before I was listening to a lot of Castro

“King Promise is good as well met him two years ago at a festival in Amsterdam.

“He is a very good artiste and he makes music with  a Dutch artistes from my area so it is good,” he revealed on The Tracker on Citi TV.

Fosu-Mensah promised to visit Ghana more frequently following his second holiday.
