Real Tamale United are back in the Ghana Premier League after a dramatic final day in the Division One League.
RTU went into the last day 2 points behind Tano Bofoakwa, and needing a to win while hoping Bofoakwa Tano failed to beat Berekum Arsenal away in order to qualify.
That was exactly what happened. RTU beat Unity FC 2-0 and Bofo drew 0-0 with Arsenal, earning RTU a place in the Ghana Premier League for the first time in 8 years.
RTU will join Bibiani GoldStars and Accra Lions as the three promoted teams in the Ghana Premier League next season.
