GHPL: Boadu wins NASCO manager of the month for June

Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Samuel Boadu has been named Ghana Premier League Coach for the Month of June.

Boadu has won the award for the second consecutive month after masterminding Hearts of Oak’s three wins and one draw recorded last month.

He also led the team to win their first Ghana Premier League trophy since 2009.

He saw-off competition from Asante Kotoko’s Mariano Baretto and Ebusua Dwarfs’ James Kuuku Dadzie

He will receive a NASCO Television set as his reward.

Meanwhile,

WAFA’s Augustine Boakye has been named the Ghana Premier League Player of the Month.

The midfielder beat competition from Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama, Ebusua Dwarfs’ Emmanuel Anaful and Elmina Sharks midfielder Benjamin Boateng.

Boakye was impressive for the Sogakope based club after winning the MVP award twice in June.

He helped his club finish the 2020/2021 season in fourth place.

He will receive a NASCO television set and a personalized trophy.
