#Donkomi: King Faisal captain Kwame Peprah joins Orlando Pirates

South African giants Orlando Pirates have signed King Faisal forward Kwame Peprah for $152,000 on a three-year deal.

The Bucs are yet to unveil Peprah who according to reports, is in Ghana to complete his travel documents.

The 20-year-old’s dynamic performances saw him rack up 12 goals in 32 league games, helping King Faisal to escape relegation in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Peprah joins Black Stars first choice goalkeeper Richard Ofori who will be expected to welcome the young attacker to life at Orlando Pirates.

According to Kickoff, the striker was previously only in possession of a single entry visa and returned to his homeland to reapply for an updated visa and to complete the necessary additional arrangements to relocate to South Africa.

The process to secure his relevant paperwork will be completed in the next ‘day to two’ and he will return to Johannesburg ‘by the end of the week.’

Pirates have endured an poor start to their 2021/22 season with defeat in the MTN8 quarter-final to Moroka Swallows and an opening day 2-2 draw with Stellenbosch in the South African league.
