Schlupp to undergo scan after hamstring injury on international duty

Ghana International, Jeffery Schlupp, is set to undergo a scan to ascertain the extent of a hamstring injury he picked up while on international break with Ghana.

Schlupp, who was a late addition to the Ghana squad, was substituted in the first half of Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Ethiopia after suffering a hamstring injury.

The Crystal Palace midfielder, who wouldn’t have featured in Ghana’s clash against South Africa due to Covid-19 restrictions, returned to London on Monday, where he will be assessed by Crystal Palace’s team doctors.

The year old has suffered a number of injuries over the past few years, and Palace faithful will be hoping the injury isn’t serious.
