‘We are responsible for issuing accreditation for Ghana games not the GFA’ – NSA

The National Sports Authority have confirmed that they are solely in charge of issuing accreditation ahead of Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe in Cape Coast.

The clarification has become necessary due to some conflicting information that accreditation for the qualifiers will be handled by the Ghana football Association.

According to Charles Amofah who is Communications Director of the NSA, they will be carrying out their duties as they have always done in the past

“You know for national teams the National Sports Authority is responsible for accreditation.

“For this particular match that’s the Ghana vs Zimbabwe that has been scheduled to take place at Cape Coast on Saturday the accreditation is being done by the NSA as we do always.

“We are in the process of issuing out accreditations to media personnel that will want to cover the game,” he stated in an interview with Citi Sports.
