2022 WC Qualifiers: Black Stars can handle pressure to win against Zimbabwe – Rajevac

Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac has admitted his team is under pressure to win their second game against Zimbabwe but reckons the players are ready to handle it.

Ghana must beat the warriors to keep any hopes of qualifying to the 2022 World Cup alive.

The Black Stars are currently second in Group G behind leaders South Africa ahead of this afternoon’s game.

“This is usual in this kind of job, especially in this kind of situation.” He said.

“You have to learn how to handle pressure.

“For us it is a must to win every match and every next match is the most important, so let’s take one step at at time.”

“We have the confidence, we will learn how to handle the pressure, because if you don’t handle it, you cannot succeed in these games.

“So this is something we have to cope with and I think that we will do that successfully.”

Zimbabwe host Ghana in the return leg of the 2022 World Cup Qualifier at the National Sports Stadium in Harare at 13:00 GMT.
