Chairperson of the Women’s League, Hillary Boateng, has demanded that the media do more to promote the women’s game in Ghana.
She made this statement at the launch of the 2021/22 Football season.
Speaking exclusively to Citi Sports after the event, Madam Boateng said the teams have achieved considerable success on the social media front but need more push from traditional platforms.
“The teams have made a huge improvement on the social media front as have the players.”
“We need more support from the media because the clubs have done what they can.”
