2022 WCQ: Ghana to fly to South Africa on Tuesday for Ethiopia game

The Black Stars of Ghana will fly out to South Africa on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 to face Ethiopia in the penultimate group stage game in the qualifying series for the 2022 World Cup.

The Black Stars will leave Accra via a chartered flight.

The Black Stars opened camp on Monday and held their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday evening with 15 players, with the rest of the players expected to arrive on Tuesday ahead of the trip.

The game between Ghana and the Walia Ibex of Ethiopia will be held at the Orlando Sports Stadium after CAF deemed no facility in Ethiopia fit enough to meet the minimum Licensing requirement to host the game.

Ghana will face Ethiopia on 11th November, followed by the group finale against group leaders, South Africa.
