Black Maidens train in Senegal ahead of World Cup Qualifier

Ghana’s U-17 Women’s team, the Black Maidens, held their first training session after arriving in Senegal ahead of their World Cup qualifier.

Baba Nuhu’s team trained at the Diambars Football Academy training complex in Sally, Mbour on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

All 22 players in the squad took part in a group recovery session before separating into smaller groups.

The Maidens will hold another session on Friday March 4 at Stade Lat Dior in Thies, a day before the match against Senegal.

The first leg will be played in Dakar on March 3rd, 2022 with the return leg to be played on March 19, 2022.

The Maidens are looking to make it through to their seventh-straight World Cup.
