U-20 WWCQ: Evelyn Badu, Perpetual Agyekum out of squad to face Ethiopia

Black Princesses skipper, Evelyn Badu and Perpetual Agyekum are out of Ben Fokuo’s team as they travel to Ethiopia ahead of the U-20 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The duo, together with Susan Ama Duah, will miss out on the game because of their recent move to the Norwegian side, Avaldsnes.

Despite the absence of the trio, the team still has a lot of quality with the likes of Hasaacas Ladies’ Doris Boaduwaa and Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah of Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the squad.

The list also sees the promotion of Black Maiden players, Comfort Yeboah and Stella Nyamekye.

The first leg of the game will be played on Sunday, March 13, 2022, in Addis Ababa, before the return leg three days later in Ghana.

The winner over the two legs will represent the continent in August 2022 when the World Cup is hosted in Costa Rica.
