Second batch of coaches begins CAF License C refresher course at Ghanaman

The second batch of coaches has begun the GFA’s refresher course for CAF License C holders at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The course commenced on Wednesday, March 16.

CAF recently declared that all licensed coaches are mandated to take refresher courses every two years.

The GFA’s Technical Directorate, led by Bernard Lippert, with support from the Director of Coach Education, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, held refresher courses last year for License A and B holders to, among other things, train them on modern coaching trends.

They are also taking charge of the ongoing License C course along with Administrative Manager, Maxwell Caesar Kemeh and GFA/CAF Instructors.

98 coaches completed the course for the License A certificate while 101 completed the License B refresher course.

Registration for the second batch of the License C course is ongoing with the fee pegged at GHC1,500.

The registration fee covers feeding for the five days, accommodation, T-shirts and other learning materials, according to the GFA.
