2022 WCQ: ‘Ghana will take it’ – Moses Simon confident of Super Eagles victory

Nigeria winger, Moses Simon, has sounded a strong word of warning to Ghana’s Black Stars ahead of their FIFA World Cup playoff second leg.

After a goalless first leg in Kumasi, Nigeria host Ghana in Abuja, knowing a win will secure them a ticket to Qatar.

The Super Eagles, who weren’t at their attacking best in the first leg will be hoping to turn on the party in Tuesday’s second leg.

Speaking during the pre match press conference, the FC Nantes man, Simon, admitted that his side were content with the first leg draw, because of the confidence they have in their home form.

“I wasn’t caged in the first leg. It was a difficult game, but it was also tactical.

“We were okay with a draw in Ghana, because we know when they come here, they will take it, he said.
