Black Queens lose 2-0 to Morocco in friendly [VIDEO]

Ghana’s senior women’s football team, the Black Queens lost 2-0 to Morocco in an international friendly played on Tuesday night.

The match, which was organised through the Ghana Football Association’s exchange program with the Moroccan FA, took place inside the Prince Abdallah Sports Complex in Rabat, under the floodlights.

The Moroccans dominated the game from start to finish and got the opening goal in the 48th minute when Rosella Ayan Ani raced through to finish calmly.

She then grabbed her second goal of the game in the 75th minute to seal the win for the North Africans.

The game served as a preparatory encounter for the home team, who will be participating in the 2022 Women’s Afcon, which they will host later this year.

The Queens meanwhile, failed to qualify for the competition after being knocked out by Nigeria.
