Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew has scored his 19th goal for the Black Stars with a wonderful strike against the Blue Samurai of Japan.
It is his first goal for the Black Stars since March 2021.
The Crystal Palace man now has 19 goals for the Black Stars, the same number his father scored in his illustrious Black Stars career. It has taken him 7 games more than his father, however.
Ayew’s goal was Ghana’s best moment of the first half as they struggled to trouble their Japanese counterparts. The Blue Samurai suffocated the Black Stars with their aggressive press and made life difficult for the Ghanaians.
