German Bundesliga side, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, have submitted a bid for Strasbourg defender, Alexander Djiku, according to reports in Germany.
The robust center back has been the subject of interest from a number of teams in Europe, with Sevilla also expressing strong interest in the player earlier in the transfer window.
The full details of the bid, with regards to the fee, has not been disclosed, but French news portal L’Équipe have previously reported that Strasbourg will give him the green light for a move if the fee is right.
Djiku was one of the standout performers for Strasbourg last season making 31 league appearances.
The 27 year old has also cemented his status in the Black Stars setup in recent months, and picked up the Footballer of the Year award at the 2022 Ghana Football Awards.
