Expecting nothing but the best -Richard Commey talks Pedraza fight

Ghanaian former Lightweight Weight Champion Richard Commey has stated he expects a stern challenge from Puerto Rican Boxer Jose Pedraza.

Commey fights Pedraza in a Juniour Welterweight bout on Sunday, August 28 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 3:30 AM GMT.

Ahead of the bout, Commey talked up his preparations for the big fight after getting dominated by Vasiliy Lomachenko in his last fight to JoySports.

“Physically am ready, mentally ready, spiritually, I mean ready for Saturday. Am expecting nothing but the best because he’s been there for a while, he’s been around, he’s a seasoned fighter.”

Pedraza is a two time division champion and both fighters are coming off losses; Commey has moved up in weight to 140 Pounds for this fight.

The 10 round bout is the main feature on the night that has Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson taking on Serbia’s Miljan Rovcanin in an eight round bout.

2015 African Games Gold medalist Efe Ajagba fights Jozsef Darmos in a Heavyweight Undercard fight.
