Turning The Page: Ghana Basketball Association unveils new official logo

The Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) has unveiled a new logo for the Association as part of initiatives to enhance the visibility of the sport in the country.

The new logo was unveiled at a press conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Center that had GBBA President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer and Secretary General present.

2023 African Games Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, was present at the event as part of his mandate to ensure the successful of the 13th edition of the multi sport tournament.

“We had lots of activities and programmes that we were launching or commencing so we felt that it was necessary for us to come to the public for everybody to know that we are turning on a new page. For example, we were phasing out the old logo” GBBA President Ato Van-Ess stated.

Aside from the unveiling of the new logo, the improved GBBA website, upcoming basketball competitions including the national championship to be staged in December this year and basketball related mobile apps were launched at the event.
